What
The Marquette Method is a modern, technology-based method of fertility awareness and natural family planning created by the MUINFP. Using the Clearblue Fertility Monitor, which detects changes in your reproductive hormones, you are able to identify the beginning, peak, and end of your fertility each month.
How
Each day of testing, the Clearblue monitor displays a result indicating the hormone levels detected. Together with this information and the protocols created by the MUINFP, you can confidently choose to avoid or achieve pregnancy each month. Charting your cycles also provides a wealth of data that can be used to identify underlying health concerns and optimize the health of your fertility.
Who
If you have a cycle, you’d benefit from tracking it. Most women of childbearing age can use the Marquette Method to understand their unique fertility and optimize it. This includes: single women, married women, young girls, women with “regular” cycles, women with irregular cycles, breastfeeding & postpartum women, women approaching menopause, women with PCOS, endometriosis, and women looking to get off hormonal contraceptives.

Professional Instruction
All Marquette Method instructors are healthcare professionals who have been certified by the Marquette Institute for Natural Family Planning (MUINFP). Instructors work with women in all stages of fertility including breastfeeding women, women who are approaching menopause, and women coming off of hormonal contraceptives. Having an instructor provides you with an additional resource for answering your questions and navigating the tricky situations that can sometimes arise.
